Life is what happens while you're busy making plans. And that's what happened to me this last week when I was struck down with the flu. This unexpected detour caused me to think about our perception of time. When we're sick time can stretch on forever, or in my case, make days disappear into the ether. Funny how time can both stretch and contract simultaneously.

This graphic represents the linear but nonlinear feeling of my days of non-productivity and metaphysical disappearance. Being in the pink (or close enough to it) rounds out this lengthy episode.
